Vaping can dehydrate you, are you drinking fluids when you vape?

Welcome to the forum, I had my own ordeal with cancer (kidney) they took half of my right one, so I know how you feel. Can't go wrong with an eGo I still have my 1st 510 stick style and it still works! I'll be closing in on 2 years analog free in a hand full of months and I know if I can do it anyone can. Stay focused and don't beat yourself up if you slip! Good Luck

Well, my first plunge into VV vaping was the eGo Twist, not saying anything bad about it, the Twist is a great device and I have backed eGo from the day I bought my first 510. I purchased the eGo 1000mah VV battery and I must say it was quite long! Put a big tank on it and it’s a bit oversized for me! Now on to the Vision Spinner, I bought the 1300mah VV and the Spinner is a bit different, for one thing it is a fatter battery so the length is shorter than a standard eGo 1000 batt but with more power! The size is about 112mm length by 17mm diameter. Charging time is roughly 4 hours and I vape it at 4.3 to 4.8 volts most of the time and it’s giving me around 12 hours vaping time. It also has the 5 click shut off and offers 3 kinds of protection.
Short Circuit Protection: When short circuit happens, the battery will shut down and not function again until short circuit is removed. Safety Cutoff/Atomizer Protection: If you press the button for 8 seconds, the battery will be locked until the next press. Low Voltage Protection: When the battery voltage is lower than 3.3v, the battery will shut down. Voltage ranges from 3.3 to 4.8 and coupled with a Vision Vivi Nova it is one nice little vaping machine. This would be a great set up for any noobie or even a vet who would like a simple no fuss VV device.

Do a search on eGo carrying case. It's what I use and just about every vendor carries them.

GaGa, normally it's the battery life that's the turn off. I have found some batteries that are really descent from Smokeless Image and is called the Volt. I have the 78mm batts and I'm getting 3 to 4 hours of vaping which is not bad for a cig look-a-like. I believe they are 320mah

Well at least I know the Volt batts are good, I own 4 of the 78mm's. Good little batt and if the Cartos from V4L fit she would be set or maybe order V4L's batt with it. Only thing is I got her sold on the Volt batts
It's hard to convert smokers as it is! lol

I have ordered from V4L, they seem to be a good company near as I can tell. I purchased my initial e-cigs from v2 but also use V4L carts on them,so know that they are compatible in that way. Would you consider helping her fill carts,( at least to help her get started) as an option? Id bet once she saw it done a time or two, it wouldnt be so intimidating.

There are some good juice vendors out there that carry PG free products and ultimately, would be cheaper in the long run. Just a thought.

I do know that the Volt's can use other 808 brands of carto's and stuff and I'm almost certain V4L is one of them, but you'd have to ask SmokelessImage which brands of carto's they are compatible with.
I'm in the dark with your questions, but I'll keep an ear out as I hop around the forums. Hopefully I'll run across some info for you.

executor, that all depends on your vaping habit. I vape maybe 2 to 3 ML's a day and I think I'm a moderate vapor. Some people vape 5 or more!

    See if this helps...........

E-liquid is a mixture of varying amounts of about 4 different ingredients. Nicotine, PG (propylene glycol), VG (vegetable glycerin) and flavoring. Some liquids can have additional ingredients, but for the most part, these are the main ingredients to all e-liquid.
The amount of nicotine is dependent on the strength of nicotine in your e-liquid, but let’s say it is around 10% nicotine. Somewhere around 10% of your e-liquid will be flavoring. That leaves 80% of the liquid in your bottle for fillers, which dilute the flavoring and the nicotine. This is where PG and VG come in, and depending on how you like your vape, that determines the percentage of PG and VG in your e-liquid.
Vegetable Glycerin (VG) is a thick, sweet liquid. VG produces luscious clouds of vapor. VG also imparts a sweeter taste to your liquid.
Propylene Glycol (PG) is a much thinner tasteless liquid. PG produces more of a “throat hit” than VG does, which simulates the feel of smoking better. PG also has a higher rate of sensitivity for some people, meaning that some people just can’t use PG in their vape.

The only way to tell if it is the juice your allergic too is to try both VG and PG separately. Meaning 100% VG then 100% PG. I've never heard of a case where the person was allergic to both seeing these ingredients are in a lot of things we use daily. You might be able to still vape but only 100% of one or the other.

It could be that the withdraw from not smoking is effecting you or you could be allergic to VG or PG. Ask the shop where you bought the juice what ratio PG vs. VG you have.

Welcome to the forum Izzzz, I guess it all comes down to you the vaporer....lol. Some people will change out the atty or coil as soon as the tastes begins to change, if moneys not a problem this is the best for flavor. I'm a bit more stubborn and if the attys still cranking out hits I use it till the taste is so bad or it flat out dies. Some people even clean them depending on what your using. But for the most part a lot of the attys and heads are pretty cheap and you have to figure out whats best for you. Good Luck

Bill45005, have you read this forum and the various threads in it? If you did, you would know that no veteran vapor on this forum would ever recommend a rebuildable cartomizer to a noobie. That's way too advanced for someone just starting out.

When I first got onto Vapor Talk I found a wealth of information given to me from the veteran vapors you so carelessly criticized. They were very careful to give me, a noob of just a few months' vaping experience, a lot of easy to understand instructions, sound recommendations to reputable vendors, and the support I needed to stay off analogs. Whenever I had questions, they answered them in such detail that even I could understand the concepts. Many times I had to ask a lot of questions but they never once lost patience with me and also gave me information with caveats that some things might be above my experience at the moment.

Please take a few hours and read through the new vapors threads. Also, the help it broke and general e-cigarette discussion threads. Then, after you do that, feel free to criticize the veterans of this forum.
