    Looking to get a Pod

I've used the Vaporesso Zero, which is actually the "Renova" Zero (just one of Vaporesso's brands). I think I've had 3 or 4 of them by now. I don't use one anymore but I used to appreciate how small they are. My qualm with them though was that they leaked somewhat often and it was annoying enough that I switched vapes. They might have improved it but it seemed to leak pretty frequently. They'd leak both in my mouth and inside the area where the pod connects to the device. I remember regularly pulling the pod and cleaning the connection area with a paper towel to keep it nice and clean, which is frankly not something I think you should ever need to do with a vape. As if regular leaks weren't enough, I purchased one Zero that had a defective battery where the opening to slip the pod in was too tight for the pod to fit properly and it would squeeze the pod, which seemed to spawn regular e-juice leaks - it was awful. Despite the problems I've had with the Zero, the worst pod vape I've probably used is the Juul. And the best one to date is probably the Vaporesso Xros, which is kind of surprising seeing as Vaporesso is also behind the Zero that I've come to despise lol. If you need a good reason to choose one vape over another, you might consider what I consider: can you buy it and replacement pods at your local smoke/vape shop? With both the Xros and the Zero I know I can always find pods at at least one of the local shops here so I'm stuck searching online and then waiting for my pods to arrive in the mail.

    Tobacco free nicotine

For me, I didn't notice any difference at all, but that was some time ago. Since then I've cut down the nic amounts and now I vape 0 nic - when I vape at all. Working on putting that down as well but I'm in no hurry.

    Vaporesso Eco Nano review

USB-C! No power button, no airflow control nothing. Just filling the pod and taking a puff. The draw is definitely an MTL draw. A comfortable kinda loose MTL, but no restricted lung hits for this device.

    Vaporesso Eco Nano review

Nice review! I just have a few questions, though. What kind of connection does it take to charge? Is it a micro USB or C connection? I couldn't tell from the pictures. Also, does it just work by taking a puff, no power button? If just a puff, how hard is the draw and is there any way to adjust the airflow? Overall, it looks pretty interesting.

I haven't been doing reviews for long, so I don't have a whole lot of shiny stuff, but when there is something in there that I don't really like for some reason and don't use at all I just give it away to friends or colleagues

  10. A Vision Spinner 2 is just the battery part (the lower part with the on/off button). The tank that holds the eliquid and screws in on top of that is what has a coil inside that will need periodic replacement, what you're calling a 'cart'. If you're using a pre-filled cart/tank, they come preinstalled with the coils inside and it does not need to be replaced. Not knowing exactly the type and style of 'cart' you're using, I can't give you more specifics than that but all the pre-filled units I'm familiar with, none of them have coils that can be replaced, they're all one piece. That said, I'm also not familiar with any all-in-one carts that are used with Vision Spinners, only tanks. Good for you to start vaping instead of smoking.

    Where is everyone

My bike has a brake pedal, and a shift pedal. The vape mail ban isn't working very well, I received a vapefly Siegfried kit last week, also received a vapefly Brunhilde the week before. I received 2 orders from China, and 1 from Europe.

Congrats on your retirement, @VapeMama! I just put my notice of retirement in a few weeks ago and my last day of work will be June 30th. Trying to get everything done so I can leave with a clean slate is keeping me very busy right now but my plan is to work extremely hard at doing absolutely NOTHING for the whole month of July. After that, plans are to tear into my apartment one room at a time to clean and purge and reorganize. Can't wait! Have fun with the kids and grandkids! I bet they keep you very busy.

  16. Here in NE Ohio things are steadily opening back up. Retail, restaurants, beauty/barber shops and SOME entertainment venues are open (indoor trampoline parks, bowling alleys, etc.). Movie theaters aren't open yet. Most primary care physicians here are doing telephone visits or video visits. About 1/2 of the people wear masks in public. I do only because I work in long term care and I don't want to carry anything I may pick up from the general public to the residents. Assisted living facilities/areas are permitted to have visitors but only outdoors. ALL long term care staff have to be tested (and every one is negative) before the facility can re open to visitors coming into the building. (Our testing date this June 26.) We are all screened with temps taken and a health questionnaire prior to clocking in each day. Our facility has had ZERO cases, staff and residents. We are fortunate as several facilities in our general area have had several to many cases among their staff and residents. Life is good!

  17. We just got the "use non-medical masks" whenever you go out order a few days ago, too. My SO was telling his boss that he's thankful I never throw anything away because a few years ago I purchased a box of 50 charcoal infused masks when there was a lot of flu going around. We had them on hand and now they've become very useful. I feel vindicated. *sniffs*

    New Jersey Flavor Ban

I am the type of person that researches new things to death before I start them. I have the safety glasses and gloves were included in the supplies I ordered. Kids and pets won't be a problem. We don't presently have any pets and the kids are now adults living on their own. I haven't ordered any flavorings yet. I suspect that will be the hardest part. I'm not one that jumps form flavor to flavor. I usually find a flavor I like and stick with it for long periods. Unfortunately the flavor I'm on right now is pretty complex and making it would be difficult. It is a popular flavor so I'm searching for recipes for it.

    Before We All Panic.....

Our locale TV "news" stations have been having interviews with all kinds of so-called "experts" on vaping and health. The only problem is, they know virtually nothing about vaping more than the bull pucky they've seen on the TV news...

    Tobacco free nicotine

Ah man I tried that, couldn't pull it off (the 0 nic). I kind of just went from whatever it was at the time, probably 5% straight down to zero and it just didn't do it for me. At the time I thought it was just cause of the lack of nicotine but I've started to wonder if it's the lack of menthol because I was using (and still use) a lot of iced juices and when I picked up some 0-nic it was a non-iced flavor, some kind of dragon fruit something or other from I remember. I think the throat hit from the menthol is a big part of vaping for me after smoking cigs for so many years before switching. I might have to try it again but I feel you on the "but I'm in no hurry" cause that pretty much sums up my thoughts on quitting nicotine/vaping since I switched from smoking. I feel so much better now that I don't care much if I continue to vape, just figure it'd be better if I eventually quit but no compulsion to do it anytime soon lol

    DIY help please

60% 100mg/ml + 40% pg = 60%mg/ml. to make 100 mg of 60%mg/ml use 60ml of 100mg/ml and add 40ml of pg result will be 60mg/ml nic. If you want to mix it all at once use 120 ml of 100mg/ml and add 80 ml of PG.

  38. While I don't have anything I'm looking to sell, DiscountVapers is a company I've done business with for years now and do not hesitate to recommend for people looking for more inexpensive things. The link below is for their complete kits. The only brand I prefer not to buy anymore is Smok. In my experience, Smok products haven't performed well for me and I find their tanks tend to leak like a sieve. Others my like it but I don't. My preferred brand is ELeaf, although Aspire, Kangor, VooPoo, and Joye eGo are all proven brands. When I started vaping (over 8 years ago now), my first kit was an eGo variable voltage stick battery and a CE4 clearomizer. I hope some of this helps a bit. Good luck!

  40. Personally, it's almost business as usual for me. I work for a government contractor deemed essential. Everyone that puts what we make together is still working. Almost all of the support staff, engineers, planning, and anyone else that doesn't need to physically touch the product to do their job has been given a laptop and told to work from home. The people that are at work range from those that seem to think it is inevitable, and they are going to get it anyway and have not changed habits at all to those that you can't even talk to because if you get closer than 15 feet or so they start yelling to not get too close. One in particular gets nearly hysterical if someone walks in the room she works in, it's approx 20X60 feet and there are 6 others that work in the room, well spaced out. All schools, colleges, barbers, etc have been closed. The schools until mid April at least. Auto mechanics, grocery stores, liquor stores (yup), auto parts stores, construction and contractors and a few others have been deemed essential and are able to be open. Small businesses that can be run by one person are allowed to stay open, but must limit the number of customers inside at one time. A couple car garages have closed but not many. Restaurants are take out only no eating in, fast food and coffee shops are drive thru only. The local roads are mostly empty of cars. A few, apparently family, groups of 3 or 4 walking together, way more than usual. I travel I-90 to work and there is slightly less traffic, more trucks, but still a lot of out of state cars.

    New Vaper

Some things to keep in mind is that you'll want to get the equipment that's right for you, the right amount of nicotine content in your eliquid is very important, the desire to stay off cigarettes, and having enough back ups to get you through should anything fail at any time. If you have those things, you'll be just fine. Welcome to Vapor Talk.
