  1. Welcome Liz! I am like you. I really don't vape in public much. I tend to keep it in the car, at home, and in the office. I really did about the same when I smoked. It is gaining acceptance in a lot of areas, but there is so many misconceptions and I normally don't want to deal with them in public. (I am shy and non-confrontational, a weird combination for a salesman!) I sat next to a woman today in a nonsmoking Denny's in Abilene, TX and she was vaping away. What really caught my eye is that she was an older lady and no one even gave her a second look. (I mean no offense by calling her older, she was older than me, and I know better than to try to guess the age of a woman)

  2. I tried and tried at the MGM in Detroit last week to set the one off in my room after being told it was "ok to vape anywhere on or in the property" but smoking was confined to the casino only. I never could get it to go off.

    Back to tanks?

I mean I tried dripping and I guess I just do not get it personally. I know many love it and many love rebuilding things. Personally when my lawn mower breaks, I go buy a new one. Fix it? Nahh I wouldn't even know where to start. Like I said many times between my wife's 10 tanks and my 12 it is a huge pain in the *** for me to fill them once or twice a week so I cannot even imaging messing with any of that stuff. I would rather just throw 5-6 tanks in my case, 4-5 batteries in my bag and head to the boat ready to vape. In the end, all our goal is the same and it is hard to believe I have been almost 500 days without a tobacco product touching my lips!

  7. Ok. I got this bad boy off ebay at 78 dollars. I ordered 3x MNKE 26650 batteries with it. so total cost was better than these added up. it came in with 3 batteries at 109.00 USD This is the laser etching. Plain functional looks nice but not great. Here it is with the orange battery installed. It's venting is used via open ports to battery compartment. You will not want to drop this in water lol. I have the Joyetech Delta attached and you may be able to see i am running at 21.4 watts. This is only a wattage variable device .it wil detect your coil. (mine is detected at 1.5 ohms on my evic supreme it's detected at 1.4ohms) IT fires fast and has a gravity sensor for making adjustments. Now my opinions on this device. Man oh man is it big and heavy. Stainless steel beast i tell you. It makes my evic supreme feel like the original evic almost lol. If you look at the picture you will see that the joytech is much thinner than the 7-30. The joytech is the exact same diameter as my evic supreme which seems like a big rig so that will tell you how big this is. I LOVE IT. lol fires fast with a big battery that i'm hoping will last most of a day (my evic supreme lasts about 4 or 5 hours) This bad boy puts out plenty of power for my joyetech delta tank and coil (BTVC). the new tanks i am buying require greater than 11W ability so i have settled on the 30w for now so i can power my joyetech delta. I won't be able to put it on any of my 11 or 15w devices. Now the CON to this device (this may be a pro for some of you) the bottom screw on cap for the battery compartment is in two parts. This allows for adjusting the very bottom flat portion in an out for posted and non posted batteries. I use non posted so with the cap screwed in so the device will work the bottom portion is not flush. I don't like this but if you use a posted battery you will probably like it. Another con is that the operators manual is horrible and might as well not even be there. When i first got it, it was factory wrapped and had a huge scratch on the screen. This upset me a lot until i thought about the big bang theory episode where they made a big deal about taking the plastic off their new iphone. Sure enough it had a plastic coating on the screen. took it off no scratches . I have a couple DNA30's ordered and when they arrive i'll use em and tell you which i prefer between the DNA 30 and this. TLDR: BIG and Beautiful, I LOVE IT.

    Back to tanks?

I think, for most active peoples, that`s the way to go. I had a real infatuation with my dripper, for a little while. But now I`m on the kayfun trying to iron the kinks out on it, and I`v been using it most of the day for a few days now, and then at the end of the day I will re-wick the dripper and have some real fun. Tank for work breaks and convenience, dripper for the easy chair when all the work is done. :?) Works for me. R

It's been a great vaping day!

Yeah. I use one of those jumbo paper clips. 5/4 wraps give me 1.5 and 6/5 gives me 1.8 and they fit nicely and give me better airflow than the stock coils. Edit : that's with 30g

  12. Welcome to VT! I really hope this works out for you. for a lot of us here its become more of a hobby than a cessation tool at this poiint! Dont be afraid to vape in public at the same kind of areas you would smoke. for indoors I personally ask before anything since I dont want anyone to freak out, basically try to avoid conflict. Vaping still has a negative conotation to it since a lot of people associate it to smoking which is fair but people are far too uneducated. Until we are free to vape wherever we want stay classy and Im sure you wont have any problems, you seem super polite! Have fun & dont be shy to ask about anything!

Did I burn up my coil?

Did the same to mine last night and a couple of silica wick tanks in the past. If it wasn't too bad fill it and after a few pulls it will clear out. The wicking material in the bvc's is a creamic material and seems to be a bit more tolerant to heat than silica wick where you either got lucky or didn't and have to swap coils.

  14. Welcome to VT! Good set up to start vaping, simple and easy to use. Evods are what I started with. You will be amazed how much better you feel in just a short time. I was a 30+ year smoker and after a month of vaping, what a difference! There are many experienced vapers here who can answer any questions you might have along the way!

    This is insane

Now imagine that in a enclosed in a mod, in your pocket or in your car while your shopping. Battery safety is no joke.

  17. I got a vamo v5 yesterday and after charging the batteries it worked great! I put the batteries back on the charger when I went to bed. They weren't dead though. This morning it wouldn't work. I would like to avoid sending it back since it took so long to get here. I've tried a few things. Stretching the spring, foil between the batteries, and both batteries as singles instead of stacked but nothing has worked. I'm considering stopping at a vape shop to see if I can find different batteries. Currently I have flat batteries. Both put in with the positive up. Anyone have any other suggestions?
