  1. I was just sitting here vaping (of course), and a simple fact occurred to me. I vape all sorts of stuff...RBAs, DCTs, drip atomizers (901, 306, 510), eGo tanks, etc. It's just something that I've gotten really into lately, sort of like I'm in search of the perfect vape and can't stop trying out the new stuff (I think that many of you reading this might empathize). When I got in from work, I screwed my Vision Spinner 400mAh into it's charger and tossed the two-week-old carto into the trash. I grabbed a fresh Boge 3Ω carto from the box and condom-filled it. I topped it off with a few drops (DK-TAB) on top 'til saturated, drip-tipped it, and waited for the Spinner to charge. About half an hour or so later, I screwed a freshly filled Boge 3Ω carto into a freshly charged Spinner set to 4.8v ('cause that's how I do it), and the resulting vape was nothing short of magical. I mean, everything about this vape was totally perfect...awesome vapor production, great throat hit, and unbelievable taste. And that's when it occurred to me that this simple, poly-filled carto might just be the perfect vape. I mean, everything about it was right, and the draw was fantastic. At that moment, I couldn't think of any device I owned that was as completely satisfying as that Boge carto was. YMMV. Anyway, I'll keep gettin' the new stuff, and I'm confident that there are some really great toys on the horizon, but I have this gut feeling that I'll always have a box (or five) of Boge cartos on hand...for when I need to get grounded.

  2. Sounds like you have a lot of negative, and toxic people in your life. Sorry for being blunt, but its no wonder you cannot quit with your loved ones tearing you down when they should be supporting you during this endeavor. Even though you cannot get rid of these people in your life (coming from a toxic family myself, I do understand), you do possess the power to block them out. Do not verbally engage, because you can't win with these types of people. If there is one thing I've learned from a lifetime of dealing with my own addictions, demons, and negative people, it is that this is something that had to be done on YOUR terms. And remember, above all else, remind yourself that YOU are worth it and are doing this for YOUR own benefit...not anybody else's. As for how I quit.... Personally, I switched over to Vaping the second my first kit arrived in the mail. Like you, I never smoked more than a pack a day, so I started with 24mg for the first week (which made me hella sick). Then went right to 12, and have stayed there until recently acquiring a Genesis atty (those things will knock you for a loop when properly set up, LOL). I've also had a good group of friends around me who encourage rather than tear down....unlike my family. And, I've had this forum, and all the good people here. The membership here has helped numerous people out with everything from quitting the cigs to navigating the thousands of products being sold by hundreds of vendors. If you need anything, just ask. Someone will be glad to jump in with an answer. Good Luck, and Happy Vaping!!!

  3. I personally was so ready to give up analogs that I have not had any issue whatsoever. I am at the point where I prefer my e-cig to analogs, but what it took for me was finding the right liquid and set up. I tried all the fruit flavors and some other sweet flavors and none were satisfying to me at all. Once I got my first order of Traditional Tobacco from Sweet-Vapes in 80/20 24mg nicotine I never looked back, the urge went away. I am fond of the taste of tobacco. I see so many on here that say they try and stay away from it, but for me it was imperative to have something similar and for me, this is it. As a disclaimer there are plenty that do not like this flavor, and in no way am I trying to get you to order from them, just sharing what worked for me. I never had any irritability or anxiety, in fact I have all but quit taking the anxiety meds I was on while smoking analogs. My wife also has quit, but it was not as easy for her. She kept a pack in her purse and smoked it over the course of a week when she first started vaping but then found her "satisfy me" flavor in VapeDudes Spearmint and Strawberry Fields. Personally I think it is mental, not physiological, since you are still getting the nicotine (probably more than from analogs) and any withdrawal is from habit. What type of equipment are you using? One of the things I hated at first was constantly having to worry about having batteries charged starting with 808 stick type from the mall. Then I got a eGoT 1000mah starter kit with 2 batteries which shortly led to two Vision Spinner 1300mah so now I never have to worry about one dying and being without one. You will get there, its a mindset. Its not easy, and each person is different.

  4. Just bought the overly expensive (money not an issue obviously) vapor zeus auto starter kit and some spare smileomizers from vapor4life. I also put in an order for 7 different e-juices from mister-e-liquid. Now I must wait for a few weeks for it all to be delivered to me in Iraq from a friend who is traveling back to the US for a couple weeks. I'm excited but the long wait is a certain buzz killer.

  5. This just in! 20 Boge 2.0 ohm atomizers from Vapelite 2 extra long drip tips from House of Vapor 12 306 2.2 ohm atomizers from The Veteran Vaper (I only ordered 10 - Brain...I mean Brian threw in two extra) PLUS! A hand written "Thank you" on the invoice. Did you hear that Jeff? Now I think I'm set for a little while.

  6. The important thing to remember, is to make sure your battery (or mod's battery) can handle the amps pulled. Not all batteries are the same.

  9. I would say one of the hardest parts is finding the right E Liquid, strength of nic and percentage of pg/vg. Not sure if thats enough to stop someone from trying vaping but it is a daunting task!
