Well well welll what do we have here? I must admit that this tank is extremely appealing to me. Do you have it yet? I've got to find a way for one of my buddies to pick this up and bring it to me in Iraq. The price is on point and I love the refill method as well as the generous airflow......PLUS its a single coil woohoo. Please share your thoughts when you pick this thing up.

I am on day 2 with it.  It is kinda a pain to build on, but other than that I am enjoying it.  I build the coil up high, above the screws and run the tails down.  The one major thing I don't like is the screw on chimney.  It messes up your wicking.  I like the OBS's build deck much more, but I like the Sauce Codes tank more.  I have not even looked to see if they will interchange, there is a big possibility, because  I think they all us Atlantis coils.  I will have to check that out.

Just checked it out....it is a no go.  The coils will not interchange, the Saucecode uses Atlantis style coils, but not the OBS.

Ahh I see. You mean the chimney can't be placed on like other chimney's due to the chimney being attached to the top filling portion. This would make it difficult like you said to make final adjustments before screwing down the top as we normally do. Hmmmmm...Why do they do this to us? Such a great design then that one little thing they change messes things up a bit. Grrrr.

Are the screws on the deck sort of like the subtank mini? I can't really tell from any pics.

Well the chimney works like all of the the others.  It is like the SubTank mini except it does not have the things on each side of the screw to trap the wire (and the screws are not as good).  The problem is the holes in the chimney.  They grab your wick and spin it as you tigten it.  (that's why the new mini slips on instead of screws on).
