Well, here I am almost 3 months later and no stinkies at 227 lbs! I'm not one who was ever overly concerned with my weight. I only step on the scale a couple times a year. But just a few minutes ago my wife commented that she thinks I'm losing weight. She somehow got me on the scale and .... WOW!!! 18lbs lighter!

Anyone else have this pleasant little side effect of vaping?

I've been a bit busy helping my daughter get things ready for her first child to arrive... my first grandbaby! :grin:  

Her husband is in the Army, and due to the nature of his MOS and current deployment, he may not make it home in time for the birth... but we are hopeful!!

She called tonight around 6:30 and said she was on her way to the hospital because she wasn't sure if her water broke :rolls_eyes:  I always figured that was something that was kinda obvious, lol... but what do I know?  I'm just her dad... 

Anyway... She finally called again around 9pm and said it was confirmed... her water has broken and little Lara will be here soon... well... probably another 12-20 hours... if she follows the norm for first births, anyway.

I'll update as we progress, if I get a chance... and post some pics as soon as I can!

Sorry I've been AWOL.   It's been quite a ride.  I got super busy with gigs.  had to learn a bunch of new material, did some collaborating on the internet and went in to the studio to do some demos with another artist as well as did some update recordings for the band.  it has been a very busy end of year plus teaching full time.  Whew!!

Right now I'm on holiday in Florida!  no white  Christmas here.  It's shorts and T-shirts and nothing but relaxing, vaping and some family (wife's side) time.  10 days of nothing but chillin out.  it's been a long awaited break.  

well for now just wanted to say happy holidays to all and I wish you all a new year filled with opportunity good luck. 

Now I will catch up on some if the postings and see what I've been missing for a while......

My Oatmeal Raisin Cookies are done and the first pans of Chocolate Chip are in the oven now. Next up will be the the chocolate chip recipe with Craisins instead of chocolate chips.

All of us nurses at work have teamed up to make the nurses aides' Christmas gifts. A couple of weeks back we decorated plates with fabric to put a variety of cookies on, for all of them for Christmas.The plates will be made up on Thursday, ready for our unit Christmas party on Friday. The aides appreciate that the gifts are handmade

 

There may or may not be 4 dozen of each kind...... just sayin'. I gotta sample you know for quality control purposes!
