I’m new to this world. I’m using the 220w Alien with a baby beast atomizer. The batteries I’ve bought and most of the ones I’ve seen say 3.7 V. When I vape at the low end wattage (50w) for the .4 OHM coil my voltage is 4.619. If I drop it to 30w then I get a reading of 3.593 volts. I’m assuming the batteries say 3.7 to indicate the safe level. By using the suggested watts for the coil I’m going above that. But when looking for different batteries I noticed most are 3.7. Leading me to think that this is okay. But I don’t want to use it dangerously. Help.

Are these safe?

I have been using them just fine. Suddenly, my Kangertech Dropbox 160 says check battery. Screen is going wacky and mod shuts down. Hours later it worked perfect, then randomly went back to the error and shutting down.

I swapped battery positions and it works again like normal...

Are these safe to use?

I'm worried about the white ring insulator being a little gnawed on. Also, one is a flattop and one isn't. Is this an issue of safety?

	Hey all!

I've been using LG HE2 18650 2500mAh 20A 3.7v Rechargeables. in my eleaf 60W and my eleaf Pico since May. Should they be wearing out already? I charge them in a Nitecore 2 slot battery charger never in the mod. I alternate them one charging one in use. How often should I be buying new batteries? I was thinking about getting the brown LG's next or should I be looking at something else?

	Thanks for any input...

With all the stories floating around, either exploitive or real with batteries exploding, I am curious.... Are these "incidents" generally with mechanical mods, incorrect builds and bad/"cheap" batteries? I have one mechanical mod that I've pretty much stopped using over the past year and pretty much only use a Wismec RX2/3, older Sigelei 150, Eleaf Pico and a Smok Alien regulated mods. I buy my batteries at my local B&M store, which I am comfortable with their reliability and honesty. They are a chain organization with about 15 stores around the area.

Am I pretty much safe, assuming their batteries are not fakes, etc. and my builds are between .2-.8 ohms on my mods? I generally don't vape more than 55 watts, unless I put together a .2-.3 dual build, then I'll take it up to 90 watts or so.

	Hi all you battery guru's!

	HELP!

I got a Releaux 2/3 and have 3 pairs of married batteries for it. (which I'm rotating in the 2 battery mode) They're Sony VTC5 IMR 18650 2600 mAh 3.7V and they seem too fat for the mod and they don't last very long I'm vaping at about 35W with a 0.41 build in my Avocado 25mm RDTA. Everything ie...mod/batteries are brand new (except the tank). I charge all my batteries in an external nitecore charger. The battery percentage drops really quickly for some reason. I've vaped this same build on a single battery mod and it's lasted a day and a half but this is only lasting about 8 hours. It's weird because the batteries seem fatter (wider) than my others too and It's hard to close the door on my mod....

	Is this normal?

	Thanks.

So when your batteries arrive do you generally have to charge them before use?I got mine this morning and put them on the charger, just in case, they needed charging...just wondering if I maybe got jipped?they were in super nice packaging, individually wrapped, and in plastic cases,I checked them, they are authentic.

If I have a Mod that requires two 3.7v batteries, does that mean my available voltage is then 7.4v?

I've been experimenting with different builds on my new dripbox 160 which shows the voltage I'm drawing. A few of the builds that require a higher wattage of course draws higher voltage, and I end up ripping the coils out and trying something else because I'm not sure if it's safe.

Hopefully what I asked makes sense, and isn't too stupid.

Mooch suggests, and I agree that the 30Q would probably be a smarter purchase until they get this straightened out. I have noticed a big "LG Blowout" from some vendors, and I suspect it is to clear their inventory of any of these batteries, if they actually have any of the Low Grade/Counterfeit batteries.

I'm getting a wismec rx200 and I already have some Sony vtc5's but was told if I want to go to the full 200 watts I would need better batteries. What's the absolute best battery to use with this? I would like one that has a longer run time but it isn't that important. I just want the best battery for vape performance! I know absolutely nothing about batteries so any help is greatly appreciated! What should I run with this? If I'm getting a new mod I should use the best batteries right! Thanks
