@Christopher, since you updated the forum I've noticed that there's no way to tone down the background of the pages. It's super bright and is hard for me to read. Any chance you could add a "less bright" version for easier reading?

And knew it from the text that we can only post in "General Suppliers Forum" until we makes 3 posts in any of 4 particular sub forums.

Though i could only post here, in the "Help&feature Requests"Sub forum...

In the "Introduce Yourself", i couldn't find any options to make a post.

Some of you may not have been able to use the forum over the last 24 hours. When logging in, you may have received a "are you a supplier" question, which, rather than updating, kept looping back to the same question. My apologies as this was an error on my part. It should be correct and working again

Might I suggest changing the name of this section from "Feedback, Help & Requests" to "Site Feedback, Help & Requests"? Seems that from time to time there is a bit of confusion and quite a few "Help it Broke" topics get posted here......

New "new" forum layout

Noticed that there's a new forum layout where there's the newest topics and new posts on the right hand side. Just my personal preference but it makes the content of the posts feel too squished together and busy. Is there a way for us to customize how we look at the pages and take that out if we want?

Tapatalk login

I am unable to get to the forum via Tapatalk all of the sudden.
At first I just figured it was the changes you were making but I can login just fine on my PC.

When I try using Tapatalk I get to the login screen then enter username and password and then I get "Network error, please try again later"

Any ideas?

403 Forbidden

A potentially unsafe operation has been detected in your request to this site.

It's the same way I've embedded youtube vids before with no problem. Bug?

"most recent" post issues

There are a couple of things I want to report.

The first is occurring when I click the little dot next to a topic to go directly to the most recent posts(s). When I see a new post and click the dot, the page isn't landing on the newest post. Sometimes it is half-way through the new post and other times it is landing all the way at the bottom of the page. I have experienced this in both Chrome and IE.

The other issue is exclusive to IE. The little "New' graphic that pops up next to the categories on the main forum page when there is new content in a particular category is not displaying. It works fine in Chrome, just not in IE.

@Christopher, if you happen to reply to this message, shoot me a PM along with it and I'll try to grab some screenshots to describe exactly what I'm talking about.

Logging in

I generally keep myself logged in to the site on my desktop and my phone, both using Firefox. Normally there is no issue, I click my link on either and check the new posts. On occasion, I fire up my laptop I got while attending college between jobs a few years ago because the wife or daughter is on the desktop. When I do that and visit VT, I am logged out on my desktop and phone, and I have to put in my user name and password every visit on both the phone and desktop for several weeks afterwards. If it was a one time thing I would think nothing of it, but it goes on for weeks. I am on day 5 since I last used my laptop, also running Firefox (first time in several months), and have to reenter my credentials every time I switch between my phone and the desktop to log in. As long as I do not log into this site on my laptop for several weeks I no longer have to re-authenticate every visit on both the desktop and phone. No other site I frequent has this issue. Any help appreciated.

Forum not centering on screen

All of a sudden the forum isn't centering on my screen. I have to scroll either right or left to see the posts or compose one...it's weird. I just started. Yesterday it displayed fine.

I'm not sure if it's the forum or the laptop I had to switch to but it just started doing it

I was wondering. Is there a way to make the "reply is merged" featured user controlled? Or make it so a user can toggle that feature on and off?

once in a while I might have an after thought on a post . Sometimes I want my afterthought to be a separate post for clarity. So the other person knows I have made an addition to my post. A reader might not catch that I have added a short line to a post, when he has thought that he has already read that post.

Sometimes the merge feature is fine when you are responding to a post when you know the originator is not there. But when the originator is actively reading your posts, they could miss a point that was added automatically with the merge feature.

Markup language for linked items in quoted posts

Am I the only one who is see markup language in quoted posts?

I know there is logic in the forum software (or somewhere on the site) that picks out certain keywords in posts and automatically creates links to those items or similar items in the VT store, but anytime someone quotes a post with those links, they are showing up with the markup language. (Don't worry if you don't know what markup language is. I'm sure @Christopherwill understand exactly what I mean.

Example: In the below snapshot from one of my posts you can see where the keywords have been linked.

Example 2:

In Cany's reply just a few minutes later, the keywords are still linked, but 'rel="external"> has been added after each of the links. Sometimes it's an entire address.

For the record, I use Chrome almost exclusively on a PC or laptop, but I have tested it against IE and Firefox with the same results. Oddly, in the VT app it doesn't add the links in a post, but it does add them in a quote and the markup language doesn't appear via the VT app.

Login problems on mobile site!!!

I tried to log in a few minutes ago,and the store won't take my username or email.I know I have an account I have ordered my crown 2 and all it's coils there.my password is saved on my phone.I even tried logging in with facebook,to no avail.is the mobile site maybe down?please let me know if so I will pull out my laptop,I need to open a ticket for .8 kanthal could for my crown 2,I plan on ordering them monday...thanks and happy vaping!!
