  1. LitecigUSA.com sells the 50 ml. I've done plenty of business there and havent been dissapointed.
  2. Does anybody have one of these? I've got a 50$ coupon code for a site that sells em for 69.95. I'm itchin to grab it seeing as how its only gonna cost me 19.95. I love my VP2, but whats the harm in a little more vapor "bling"? I'm lookin for an experienced opinion. Also, congrats Chris on getting the store up. I've been busy lately and haven't been able to post. Now hurry up and get those shrt bridge 801 attys. Everybody here at VaporTalk has been crushin Arno, and they're always gone before I can order one. Listen up VT members - STOP BOGART-ING THE SHRT BRIDGE ATTYS!!
  3. Full time student (will eventually be teaching High School Chemistry and Physics - if I can shake enough of the rust off my math) and Mr. Mom. My wife supports the fam for now while I slave away cooking, cleaning, and raising our 1 yr old daughter.
  4. A dead fan who isn't a head? Man - you must be one of fifteen worldwide!
  5. I understand the frustration w/Nasa. The organization is poorly managed, strife with bureaucracy, riddled with corruption, and clearly lacks focus (sounds like every gov't org huh?). It is in desperate need of an overhaul. That having been said, I wouldn't cut funding to it. Don't make the mistake of assuming that the sole purpose of Nasa is to recreate the "United Federation of Planets." Space exploration is just one aspect of their operation, arguably the least important. They are one of the driving forces in aeronautical design and safety, tops in the development and application of robotics, and instrumental in our continued understanding of chemistry both organic and inorganic. The organization is an excellent example of this country's willingness to invest in noble pursuits that benefit the global community. They are also one of the most important advocates for math and science in public education (this is their most important function IMHO). At no point has the search for extraterrestrial life been one of its primary goals. There is a separate organization for that called SETI. I agree that the oceans hold a lot of intrigue and deserve more scrutiny, but lets find funding for that in some other manner. As far as space exploration goes... don't forget that it is our destiny to live among the stars. No matter how well we take care of the planet, the sun will one day cease to be able to support life. I hope we've found another apartment by then. Keenan - I have to nitpik something you said. "If you are a scientist, or creationist, then youd probably agree that life began in the ocean." A Creationist is a very specific brand of religious zealot that asserts the world (and indeed the entire universe - along with everything in it) was created instantaneously by God just a little less than 10,000 years ago. They wouldn't agree that life began in the ocean. I nitpik because I am compelled to fight the kind of ignorance Creationists attempt to spread.
  6. There are definitely people who claim that pressure points will help stop the nic craving. Its similar to the principle behind acupuncture for smoking cessation. I've tried the acu-method. Stopped smoking for a few days (prolly cause I spent so much on the acu session). I've also tried hypnosis - again worked for a day or two. Can't see how laser treatment and pressure points could possibly be linked. Either he was pulling your zucchini or he was misinformed. Pressure points are obviously based upon applying pressure. Laser treatment is a surgically precise method used to "burn" or excise tissue. A laser simply doesn't posses the ability to apply pressure.
  7. I was thinking Jesus. This is better than finding him on a piece of toast. Send that photo to a news group!
  8. I take it boiling does work if your atty isn't dead? My 901 started tasting funny (posted about earlier - like burnt carpet), so first I tried the dry burn method. Maybe this ruined it, but it was still working just didn't take care of the smell or taste. I did the boiling thing Fri nite, and since then, the atty produces an infinitesimal amount of vapor. I think its officially dead. It only lasted 2 weeks. What irks me, is that I have no idea what killed it: the burn, the boil, or was it just a bum atty.
  9. LOL!! I ve been thinking this since I joined a few days ago but didn't want to offend jm or start a whole topic about it. Anywho, welcome Derek. You're gonna love the VP2 - I can't stop gushin about it.
  10. Go Stillers! Especially this weekend Ne!
  11. Congrats! I have some friends who still smoke analogs and it drives me nuts (I'm sure they're sick of me preachin). I'd like to hop in a time machine and introduce these marvelous devices 15 years ago. Maybe my mother would still be here.
  12. I would recommend the VP2 (don't think its that much more than the 1?). Its the only mod I have and if it continues to function as well as it does now, its the only one I will get. It hits smooth, produces an incredible amount of vapor - if you're used to reg ecigs you wont believe it, and the batts last a really long time compared to reg batts. I've only had it a day, but I love it.
  13. I agree with your sentiment, but think comparing 2nd hand smoke to DUI is apples to oranges. I also think you and I will get into quite a few interesting debates in the future. Glad to see you're back and feeling better.
  14. How awesome is it not to have to worry about burning down the house!!
  15. Gotta say I agree with the no smoking anywhere public. What you can or can't do privately is another matter. I also think vaping at or near elementary schools is a bad idea. Obviously children are highly impressionable. They wouldn't be able to comprehend the subtle difference between vaping and smoking, and I wouldn't want anyone else trying to explain it to my children. As far as the image of vaping is concerned, it seems perfectly reasonable to me that a definitive study could be done cheaply (heck, make it an introductory project for a grad student) to put to bed the issue of what exactly is in 2nd hand vapor, and what effects it has on others. This is the only key issue as I see it.
