seven22 with that giant russian 91%

Recommended Posts

My friend just bought one and does not have a lot of experience building coils. I however have a lot of experience, but not when it comes to making something that works well with the variable voltage/wattage device. This tank is not like your average russian 91%. It has 3 posts and 4 juice channels and it holds 30mils of juice. My first build was 2 12 wrap coils with 28 guage kanthal that came out of 1 ohm. it was a harsh hit no matter what I adjusted the settings to. If anyone has experience with this setup can you please let me know what works well.

I've no experience with the "giant", but I will say that my standard Russian's have a harsh/horrible flavor if I take my coils below 1.2 Ohms. Their sweet-spot (for me and my juices) is between 1.4 and 1.8 Ohms, running on MECH MOD or VV device the best taste and vapor is @ 3.8 - 4.0V.

For a dual-coil on that deck, I would also guess the harsh taste (aside from low ohms) could be poor air-flow? Just a guess, though?

On a side note... 30ml of juice in the tank?? Wow, considering the heat that would build-up with dual-coils, I'm thinking that the first half of the tank would taste pretty good, but heating that volume of juice over time... the last half would likely taste like burnt dirt?

30ml, that's insane. I mostly use a ktp3, 3.5ml I think. If I use a bit too much power the last of my juice is nasty burnt, so I never fill past 3/4.

I can't imagine risking 30ml of juice no matter what. Plus I would get tired of a juice way before I used 30ml, and could you imagine several tanks all sitting with a weeks worth of juice in them?

Crazy.
