Fadora Vapor E-Juice

A fellow member was kind enough to let me sample some juice for a test run. The line of e-juice carries the name Fedora Vapor, which isn't an up and running business as of yet. However, let me review the sample I tested.

Buttered Popcorn

Wonderful movie theater popcorn smell upon cracking open the cap. I put a few drops in my IGO-W, nano coil with a cotton wick. The first vape tasted just as it smelled, a great taste that made me want to plop down on the couch and put on a flick while I vape away. However, after a few vapes the flavor became muted for some reason. I think it needs an extra shot of flavoring for my tastes. I took a break and came back to it for another tasting. Same thing, great flavor the first few puffs, then it slowly fades. The smell doesn't fade though, it fills the room and everyone was asking me if I made popcorn, lol. I would love to taste a stronger flavor in the mix, but the taste is spot on those first few vapes. I will definitely be puffing on this in between tanks. Keep it up Fadora, and thank you for the privilege of testing your creation. I look forward to the next one.

**Update**

After letting the sample steep for a few days, I am getting much more flavor. Could still be a little stronger, but with more time to steep, that should solve the whole problem with the flavor being somewhat muted. Overall I am very pleased with this sample.

Apple Cider (Signature Flavor)

The presentation is awesome. I received a 5ml bottle, labeled Apple Cider 15mg. Golden colored juice with a couple cloves and a piece of cinnamon stick marinating the liquid.

Drip taste test, IGO-W with micro coil and cotton cloud : Clove, green apple, and cinnamon all blended together with perfection. The taste is dead on, homemade apple cider. No harshness whatsoever, even at 15mg.

I applaud the genuine green apple taste that I get through the spices. I have tried a few green apple juices, and they all had that jolly rancher candy apple taste. RSST is topped off and I will be vaping this one for the day.

EDIT** Holy vapor production! The forecast is cloudy with 28g twisted micro coil and cotton wick in my RSST. No loss of flavor either. :D It's those things that make me a happy vaper.

Killer Clove (Signature Flavor)

Same as the Cider, great presentation with the added cloves marinating in the bottle. 5ml tester, labeled Killer Clove 16mg.

IGO-W with micro coil and cotton. Full clove flavor, and not the nasty Clove analog taste. Like sipping a hot tea. I really enjoy these signature flavors. They taste very authentic. Very smooth vape. Similar to the Apple Cider, but without the apple and cinnamon. A great vape to go in-between my current dessert vapes that I have grown so fond of. The spice seems to clean my palate well. I like. :)

Water Melon 16mg

I have tried only a few Watermelon juices, and they have all tasted, well, not like actual watermelon. Either they are too sweet, or they have a fake muted sort of candy taste (Lush I am looking at you). This one actually tastes like the fruit that bears the same name.

Usually when I drip anything above 8mg, it is just way too harsh, but this line of juice is really very smooth. I still can't really vape the fruity types all day, but dripping a little at the end of the day is refreshing for me.

Cherry Sucker 12mg

Taste is very similar to a cherry Dum-Dum lollypop. A little too candy for my tastes, but I'm sure others would greatly enjoy this juice. After the exhale, it is a very pleasant cherry sucker that sticks around for quite some time on the tongue.

Well I'll throw a review on here for cherry sucker. :)

The first vape I had was in an iclear 30 and it was something similar to a cherry cough drop without the menthol. So I figured I would try it in my immortalizer... And hot damn is this a fantastic flavor. Definitely a good candy flavor. Not too over the top but not so subtle that you can't taste it after a vape of pluid. :) great mixing flavor for pluid too I might add.

Oooh, we got another set of buds on the job. Awesome. :D It is a nice flavor. I found myself growing more fond of it after my first initial taste test. I would just sit there and take primer puffs without firing the button, and loving the taste more and more. lol.

The tank setups seem to mute a lot of flavors, which is why I now opt for the RDA when trying out new juice. You get the full array of the flavorings.

Margarita 12mg

Sort of a sweet lemonade at first, then I get a little zing on the exhale. Brings me back to my drinking days (in a positive way, lol), when I would mix up a whiskey sour before kicking back on the deck to watch the sunset after work. That's the taste I get at least. I'm sure if I were a tequila man it would remind me of margaritas. A solid citrus vape, without being overbearing, as many are for my taste. They often have too many lemons and not enough sugar in the pitcher.

Buttered Popcorn 16mg

I am going to do another review on this flavor. I received another sample and let it steep for a good bit. All of these test samples have been steeped for a week, caps off, shaken daily, and kept in a nice dark location. After their 3rd day of steeping, I replaced the caps, but continued to shake them twice a day.

Anyways. I am a fan of Jelly Belly gourmet jelly beans. My favorite one is the buttered popcorn. As a matter of fact, while I was at work today I was indulging in them. When I came home I decided to test the juice again, and this time I get the flavor all the way through. Not muted at all like the last time. It is also more buttery and sweeter than the last batch. The flavor is spot on. Bravo Fadora.

Mint Medley 11mg

Ok, here is one that is a little much for me. I feel like I just chomped down on a whole pack of Wint O Green Life Savers. It's like a shot of Binaca right to my senses. On a positive note, my mouth feels minty fresh. Like all the other juices, the flavor is great, just not my cup of tea for a mint. I'm a subtle mint kinda guy. This is explosive. If it had more of a green taste to it, maybe like a fresh picked Spearmint leaf, then I could vape it more, but a couple pulls is all I can do with the punch this one packs. WHOA!

Mellow Spice 16mg (Signature Flavor)

A very subtle blend of cinnamon and clove is what I am getting with this one. Mellow indeed, like a fine tea blend. Another authentic tasting juice.

All of these signature flavors have the actual spices in the bottles, giving them the most accurate taste. The longer they steep, and the more I shake them up, the fuller the flavor becomes. These are definitely Fadora's specialty, and will probably be the best sellers in the series I have tested so far.

Cinnamon Stick 16mg (Signature Flavor)

Not the typical overbearing cinnamon based juice that you find on the market. Cinnamon Stick is a natural flavor as well. Don't expect a red hot candy taste with this one. I could see myself mixing it in with my dessert vapes. Custard's Last Stand with some Cinnamon Stick? I'm gonna get creative. :)

So far there has only been one flavor out of the past 9 that I wouldn't keep in rotation, but like I said, I'm not a fan of the really strong mints. Taste is very subjective.

Cruckle Berry 14mg

This is a mystery to me. I can't pinpoint the berry flavors I am getting in this one. I get a definite cherry base that resembles the Cherry Sucker, but the rest is a mash-up of berry flavors. Very interesting. I find myself dripping this one a lot more than the others, mainly trying to put my finger on the fruits contained within. This Cruckle got me stuckle. "????" It's a great flavor, just not sure what the heck is in it.

That concludes the samples I have received. Time to wait and see what the future holds. Let's see how long I can make these 5ml testers last. I don't do much dripping, but will surely be partaking in a few drops a day.... maybe more. Many thanks once again for being granted the privilege of reviewing these fine juices.

Simply Chamomile (Signature Flavor)

I don't know how it was done, but this is dead on Chamomile. It tastes like fresh cut Chamomile flowers fully steeped in hot water. I am a HUGE Chamomile fan and was sipping a cup during the sampling of this flavor. The only difference between the tea and the juice was the sweetness of the tea (I add a bit of sugar). The perfect representation of this flavor is amazing. There is magic brewing in the Fadora laboratory.

Cinnamon Chamomile (Signature Flavor)

The cinnamon addition to the Chamomile lends a nice sweetness that makes this juice truly awesome. I get a nice sweet taste on the inhale, and full Chamomile on the exhale. I can taste the cinnamon, but it is only ever so slightly present, and it is that authentic natural taste that Fadora seems to have nailed perfectly. By far my favorite out of all the flavors I have tested.

Spiced Chamomile (Signature Flavor)

Much like the cinnamon version, but replace the cinnamon with the greatness of the Mellow Spice. The spice is there, but it is very mellow and subtle.

Fedora Vapor, Mint Medley, 12mg

Damn! It's like somebody made a grenade of mint leaves and set it off in my mouth! For me, that is a good thing. (If I remember correctly, it will be available in different strengths)

It's not a strong mint in the way Altoids are strong mints. It's a fresher, not burning mint. I can actually taste mint leaf in it. It'll be one of my daily vapes when I use up my not-as-good mints and menthols.

I tried a few of these and am pleasantly surprised! All 65vg 35pg 18mg in Davide Mini (my tasting tanks) atop Vamo 1.8ohm @ 7.5w. I steeped them all for 7 days before trying lid off, shake each day. Vapor production in all is phenomenal, throat hit is minimal (by design), and flavors are all true to form.

Mint Medley: May need to steep more, I am a mint person regularly vaping mints and there is a taste there I am not used to in my mints. Maybe wintergreen? Not sure about this one. Just too much going on.

Killer Clove: Almost an exact duplicate of what I remember a clove cig tasting like. Not too much clove either, I really like this flavor. Its one I grab when I need a change of pace from my regular rotation. Kind of a nice palate cleansing flavor.

Apple Cider: Best Apple flavor I have tried, even though I have only tried a couple. There is a spice to it I like very much. I can imagine the Apple Cider and Killer Clove being mixed together and resulting in a great hybrid flavor

Buttered Popcorn: As always the one I thought I would like the least I like the most. This flavor, while not one I could vape all day, is amazingly accurate from the smell to the taste. I cranked this one up to almost 8.5watts and the flavor jumps out of the tank.

Of the 4 I tried so far I can say Buttered Popcorn, Killer Clove, and Apple Cider are flavors I might put into my rotation. Mint Medley not so much, too much going on there for me. I like Spearmint a lot, I like peppermint a lot, but wintergreen reminds me of my employees skoal breath.

The biggest thing I can say is in the sampler I got, the only one I would have "ordered" based on name and description would have been Mint Medley, and it is the one I liked the least lol. The three I tried that I liked are flavors I might never have ordered but am glad I tried. Made me realize that I should continue to try new things. Just typing about the Buttered Popcorn makes me wish I had brought that tank to work today. It will be popped on when I get home!

I have to agree with everything Rut said in this. I tested just in an Evod - actually, looking at it, my roughest evod that I have around, but it was the only one I had free at the moment, and I was raring to dive into it after it had steeped. Luckily, there was a bit of a shipping delay, so SOME of the steeping was done during shipping.

The Spiced Apple flavor I posted about a few weeks ago that I was looking for? This is it, nail on the head, exactly! It's everything I could have hoped for. No harshness at all.

REally, saying it's exactly what I've been looking for is THE BEST thing I can say. I can't comment on the green apples like Rut did because I couldn't even tell that they were green apples, but it's the best apple vape I've had, and I've tried quite a few!

I have agree on the Cinnamon Stick, too (12 mg). Between a bad coil, and the device, I wasn't getting much taste, so I dripped like someone else here who had tried it, and it came alive. Then, of course, I changed my coil, and it was much better in the mini pro tank, but still not as good as dripping....except my dripper for sweets is now biting the dust (tried dripping the cinnamon again today and didn't get nearly as good of a result, so a new dripper is on my list of things to get next month, well, two). Truthfully, and I hope mine wasn't the only family that did this, but this reminds me of when we used to keep a shaker filled with cinnamon and sugar mixed up when I was a kid to sprinkle on buttered toast. The cinnamon/sugar mixture is it, exactly.

I plan on adding it to a few liquids to see if it can jazz them up in any way, and leaving the rest of the sample (still have 1/2 the sample left) to vape on it's own goodness. This is definitely one that if money wasn't an issue, if I didn't have to share a vaping budget with another person, much less live in an income limited household, I would be adding to my mix.

Spiced Apple (Signature Flavor)

12 mg

This flavor was absolutely on par with the Apple Cider. Truthfully, if I had to choose (and I do, I can't get them BOTH), I would choose the Apple Cider, but the Spiced Apple was wonderful, too. Same presentation in the bottle, and the taste lingers in your mouth a bit, and for me, at least, the taste made my mouth water, and made me hungry. :)

What sort of postage would I be looking at and time for UK delivery ?

I would have to look into that for you. I know there are a lot of restrictions I need to brush up on before I can do sales over seas. Like if a Juice contains alcohol it can't be shipped that sort of thing. I know other places do, so I'm sure it will be possible in time. I just want to make sure my butt is covered.

I haven't been able to try any yet. I'll try some when the site opens.

I'm right now setting up for doing some pre opening sales of 5ml and 10ml sizes only. I hope to have it up tonight. I will post more info in the proper place this is not the area to post that in. It was the main reason I had jeffb set me up as a vendor so I could start selling without jeopardizing my VT account.

After reading the earlier reviews I let the Buttered Popcorn e-liquid steep for a couple of weeks before trying. The first time out it tasted just like a bowl of freshly popped buttery popcorn. At first I was skeptical that an e-liquid could get this flavor right. Wow. I'm a believer! It hits great from the first time to now (half an hour of steady vaping later). With this I don't have to worry about picking popcorn kernels out of my teeth or greasy fingers. A definite keeper. :)

Feh. While I was trying to edit the above review, the thing timed out on me. Thankfully, I copied the text. :)

Mint Medley Original Flavor: It's a bit too heavy on the winter green flavor for me (I'm not a fan of this type of mint), but the other mint flavors in it kept me vaping this juice for quite some time. I think, if you like Life Savers' winter green, you'll love this one.

Cinnamon Stick Signature Flavor: It tastes like the perfect blend of real cinnamon and a touch of sweet. After vaping this one it made me want to get a fresh, hot sopapilla and put a little honey and then sprinkle a little bit of this flavor on it. Mmmmm. All the other cinnamon flavors I've ever tried have all had that red hots candy taste to them so I was a little hesitant to try this one. It's more of a bakery type of cinnamon and utterly delicious! Could become an all day vape for me. :)

Apple Cider Signature Flavor: Take a ripe Golden Delicious apple and add a few spices to make fresh apple cider. That's what this tastes like. Of all the apple flavors I've tried, this one tastes like a real apple to me. So much so that it makes my mouth water when I take a draw. It has a nice, smooth flavor, no one thing stands out so it's perfectly blended.

Mellow Spice Signature Flavor: Just like the name, this one is mellow, it's smooth, the spices are blended so well that it will keep you vaping for a long time just trying to single out each one. This could easily become an all day vape for me, it's not a flavor that I will get tired of after a few days. Now, I just need to get some more of this... :D

Killer Clove Signature Flavor: This one is definitely not for me. After trying to vape it for about 15 minutes my tongue went numb, it feels like when you take a spoonful of soup that's too hot and it scalds your tongue. It may be a good flavor for someone else, it just isn't a good fit for me. :(

All the Signature flavors have little bits of things floating inside like a tiny stick of cinnamon, a ball of something else, a little floaty something else... it's what really makes these flavors stand out from others.
