  1. Ordered one for shagrins. Surprised to see no cc required. But hey, tons of people on their mailing lists! Worth the probably $5 it actually costs them to run the promo.
  2. Run to lowes or Home Depot, find the plumbing section, and look for a saddle tap valve. I use this one: http://m.homedepot.com/p/3-8-in-Brass-Compression-Self-Tapping-Saddle-Valve-A-141/202848154 Lasts me a few months each, only about 8 bucks, and there's a Home Depot near my house if I'm ever in a bind.
  3. I recently got stuck for 24 hrs in Kahului airport in Maui. I spent the first hour nipping off to the bathroom to vape, when I saw two airline employees sitting down vaping away. In full view. Glorious clouds of vapor. Struck up a conversation with them and found out that it was totally fine to do there. From there out, I vaped as I pleased. We took over a spot with an outlet to charge our iPhones & iPads and I sat/laid and vaped. Mall security walked by a thousand times and saw me, never once seemed bothered. A few people gave me strange looks, but I'm pretty sure I had the only provari on the island. The few vapers I ran into looked at it like "wtf?!?"
  4. Smackleycraft.com I think is his site. Dude makes some legit looking pipes. I'm thinking my wife should get me one for Christmas this year.
  5. I had the vtube from TW. And after it broke I got the tube from Apollo. Honestly, you're better off dropping the extra 50-100 and getting the provari. I probably would have come out about the same but saved myself some headache if I'd gone with the provari to begin with. Any of the vtubes are all Chinese factory made and rebranded... Not quality manufacturing. The newest model, the 3.0 I believe, is available at ivape and looks a bit better. But it's still Chinese factory stuff. Don't get me wrong; the vtube was decent and worked. But if you can spend the money, I'd just talk to the wife. Mine got the provari for me for our anniversary last week, and said she shoulda just gotten it for me for my birthday in march instead of the vtube kit. So. Might be worth discussing.
  6. Vaporescence.com Locations in Texas: Richardson, Ft Worth, Denton, San Antonio Price: 16.95 per 30 ml bottles (+ tax, at least for in store pick up) Highlights: - huge selection of juice, all made in Texas. (I believe it's a 70/30 pg/vg mix, but they won't say anymore. My personal favorite: cherry 16 mg) also has PGA on tables to clean out atties when tasting from their selection, even has house atties for us tank users to try stuff out. Priced at 16.95 per 30 ml bottle, varying strengths but no alternative bottle sizes. - staff is highly knowledgeable. They'll spend a good half hour with you making sure you're set up and comfortable using hardware. - If you're looking for a bargain, look online. However, if you're a Newb then it's worth paying a couple extra bucks to have someone walk you through everything. They won't push a first timer into an expensive mod, either. - liquinator tank system. Highly reccomend. It is a bit more expensive, but I've had a great experience using this. No leaks, easy to fill. Cons: wish they had some kind of referral program. I've sent them some good business, and just want some free juice! Lol. Pro-tip: for anyone who wishes their job was "vape friendly" get your boss to start vaping. Best thing I ever did, and now nobody cares if I vape. Plus having your boss make vape store runs is great time saver! I'm unsure how fast the shipping times are, but I'm told they usually ship orders out within 24 hours. But I have not personally ordered and had it shipped. YMMV.
  7. Oh also, they were completely 100% out of cartos last week. That could have contributed to the delay. Edit: I see you ordered on the 10th, but sometime around the 14th I believe is when their supplies started dwindling. They had to limit purchases for a few days and then ran out early last week. Not sure what caused the carto debacle, but supply issues could have delayed your order.
  8. Vaporescence is awesome. I live in Dallas, so I go to their brick and mortars. The liquinator is a tight fit, but I've never had a leak, nor heard any complaints of leaks. I usual give a few short sharp inhales to suck juice into the carto, you'll notice air bubbles come out of the punched hole when it does pull a bunch of juice in. Also, drip some directly in the top to get it started. I had a problem last few days of it being rediculous to get the cart to slide down to fill, and had to use a key to push it in. Today I disassembled the whole thing and cleaned it and it went back together much easier, looks like I had some juice that was sticky making it hard to remove the cart. Sorry if this is rambley, ambien kicking in! Bedtime for Aes! But from what I've experienced, shipping out of places that are brick and mortar, not just online, tends to take longer. Also, theirs is the only juice I've found and loved consistently aside from DeKang. Apple Cinnamon FTW!
  9. This is the item you seek: http://www.notcigs.com/volt-meter/
  10. I've got this as well. I like it so far, had it for a couple weeks. Battery life is notably shorter at the 4.2 volts. I do agree... No 5click on/off is a major drawback. I still use my ego-T batts at work to be safe. I'd also trade the "battery gauge" for a shorter length. It isn't accurate enough IMO to be worth te extra 1/2" or so. Overall, I think it's a great VV starter. And now that I've had it for a couple weeks, I'm ready for a better vv mod. Sadly, my birthday isn't till march and wifey's getting me a LavaTube then. Shoulda just bought it and told her to get me something else!
  11. I have 2 eGo 650 mAh batteries that I use with 510 LR atties. I've been using a charger I got from AVE that's the "no cord" one. I just found out that only pushes 150 mAh vs the 450 mAh from the real eGo charger. This explains why it takes 6-8 hours to charge. Moving on the the "problem" ... I used to get excellent life out of them. I could switch batteries every day and be good to go. In the last week that's been shortened to half day of use. Not fun suddenly becoming ecig-less in the last hour of work. Also consequently I have to keep one charging at all times. Today, I put a fully charged one on at around 9 am. By 4ish it was dead. Anyone think this charger is to blame? These batteries we're purchased at the end of July. I'm ginna get the ego 900mAh VV "mod" battery and throw that into the mix as well as get the "real" eGo charger if only to shorten these charging times. So just curious if any more experienced than I have any insight. Other random, yet possibly useful info: I probably get a full drain on each battery a couple times a month, and I do keep all my stuff super clean.
  12. I tend to follow what Chris said. Last weekend, I found myself in my sister-in-law's minivan with the two nephews in front of me for a 3 hour ride.(SiL & wife in driver's/shotgun, nephews in the middle bench, myself in the back row) I finished my drink from sonic and vaped the whole way, blowing vapor into the cup via straw. Very few whisps came out of the cup. And since I was relaxing, laying down and watching netflix on my iPhone, they never noticed. #StealthVape Whenever we go to east Texas and stay with her parents and grandma, I do the ol' bathroom vape, or wait till they're asleep and then I vape as I please.
  13. People helping others out is beautiful. #FaithInHumanityRestored Good luck getting some juice, and welcome to the community!
  14. I prefer VT above all. But in the low end of the nic scale they are lacking. (I too prefer 3-6 mg vs 16/24 mg. But have resigned myself to 16 mg from VT because they are my absoloute favorites.) I also like alien visions and wordup. You should order sample packs from multiple suppliers in a variety of flavors and find stuff you love. Try things you don't *think* you'll like, and you might be surprised. I never liked menthol cigs, but find a menthol vape pleasing now and then. Also not a big fan of tobacco juices but Gorilla Juice is a favorite of mine. (sadly my wife HATES the smell of GJ, so I can't vape that often. )
