  1. Alright FTJoe, thanks for the link and you are correct about Cialis. It wasn't just the Cialis I was talking about it was also the tadalafil and rimonabant. These drugs (including Cialis) were used without displaying the proper quantities of each drug. In addition, I saw their claims that their juice could reduce weight etc, maybe I just missed it, but I didn't see where it explained HOW it did so. P.S. Tried Johnson's Creek and didn't care for it much.
  2. Cartomizers are great. I have used cartomizers for weeks and have never had one die. A dead cartomizer is usually not the problem, the problem is that eventually you may get a burning taste or a loss of flavor and that is when you will want to replace it; this is due to the wear of the filler material over time. If you vape for about 15 minutes every hour or so like you would a normal cigarette it will last for a day easily before needing to add more liquid. It is also a good idea to check it every now and then and try to keep it moist as it will last much longer. Add a few drops after you vape on it a couple of times. One more thing, after the cartomizer is "dead" you can remove the filler and direct drip with it.
  3. The Greensmoke uses a KR-808-2/E9 connection. It is NOT compatible with 808-1. The Greensmoke will not work with any other battery type; however, you can buy a 510 to 808-2 adapter from Vapure. It is labeled the 510 adapter and I have used it with my greensmoke cartomizers and it does work.
  4. I like to use 100% VG. Apparently, unlike most people, I only use all VG in cartomizers. I put it in 510 boge cartomizers at 3.2-3.4 ohms resistance and vape it at 6V. It's true that VG sometimes doesn't want to absorb but if you put in four-five drops to start out with and poke it with a small screwdriver to get it into the filler, then afterwords the juice absorbs very well, you just have to get it started. Also, I have found that you should only vape all VG liquids at a high voltage. As for it tasting strange, I have not had a problem with that on my Prodigy V3 (6V).
  5. An atomizer reaches temperatures of around 250 Celsius or 482 Fahrenheit.
  6. Mochaccino from nhaler. Just bought a 30ml bottle. Also, I'm vaping that right now.
  7. I love cartomizers, they don't need to be constantly refilled and come with a fresh atty. You can also reuse them for quite some time. I have tried 510 and 808 cartomizers. I just ordered some 801 cartomizers but they haven't arrived yet. So far I like the 510 cartomizers the best; however, the 510 cartomizers with the silver threads are the best. I have tried the gold and silver thread 510's and the gold suck HARDCORE in comparison. Every gold threaded one has also burned at high voltage.
  8. I see, so variable resistors are not a good choice. I thought I found something cool from Ohmite but it does cost 12 dollars and like WillBlack said, it is kinda big, at least bigger than what you had found Jolly. After comparing the two, variable regulators would be a better choice. Thanks for all the help everyone.
  9. This isn't going to be as easy as I thought. I imagined I could just solder the thing between the circuit board output and the atty connector. Does that thing have 5 pins, wth. Looks like I'm going to have to take a circuit analysis class or something.
  10. Holy crap, I looked for hours to find something like that. Excellent find.
  11. How do I delete this post? I decided that even though a variable resistor should work to selectively drop down voltage between 6V-3.7V, and it is cheaper. An adjustable regulator would have the same effect, although more costly, but would also provide constant voltage even with the factor of battery drain. I guess I'll have to find one after all, I just can't seem to locate one small enough and with the proper ratings to be efficient. Could anyone tell me where to get one?
  12. I just realized that when I said 10W I should have said 10ohms. Actually I think 5 would be better because even with an LR atty you could go up to 6.7ish ohms which is way too much. And where are all the replies I was hoping for, don't tell me I'll have to buy a voltage regulator.
  13. Hey everyone. I want to build a mod that has selectable voltages 3.7V-(6V or 7.4V). I am assuming this is done by adding a variable resistor. There are many types of resistors, see description, and I think I need a preset or rheostat as these types are produced to also handle smaller voltages that vaping devices utilize. Does anyone know where I can get a variable resistor or what I need in particular to build a selectable voltage mod. Also, I want to add selectable voltage to my tekk mod so if anyone knows what to add, please tell. How many watts and ohms does it need to be rated, 10W maybe? Oh yeah, if I'm entirely wrong and something else is used to accomplish this please correct me.
  14. From what I understand, the FDA targeted companies that put bizarre ingredients into their e-liquids without notifying consumers. Also, the ingredients were not approved to be used in any USA made product as they had dangerous side effects or were toxic. I believe that manufactures should be allowed to add ginseng and other similar ingredients as long as their products list those special ingredients. However, I don't want to make an order from a company with erectile dysfunction medication in it without knowing it! Still the FDA has gone crazy, probably bought off by big tobacco companies.
  15. I have noticed that heavy VG based liquids don't burn at 6V. Also, I removed the filler in my carto's and it doesn't appear to be burnt at all. I think its just the all PG liquids that burn up at 6V. I can take 3-4 second drags of 12mg Mochaccino from nhaler and there is no problem.
