Currently using a cuboid and moonshot rta for my daily driver with a 10 wrap 22g 3mm ID build. Cloud setup in a limited edition brass The block and mxv4 with a 20g build I will not say what it's at.

I just realized that no one had given you any info on sub-ohming

Sub-ohming is for true cloud-chasers and those that want really intense flavors. Personally, I've tried 0.3 Ohm builds on my RDA and I can honestly take it or leave it... usually the latter, although when I do drip, I find my dripping juice has best flavor ~ 0.8 Ohms. Mostly, though, I use my RTA's because I don't like carrying my juice bottle around, lol... and flavor/vapor from my RTA's is best with builds from 1.3 - 1.6 Ohms.

Sub-ohming has it's appeal, but not necessarily the next progression of vaping... just like driving for NASCAR is not the next progression after getting a driver's license.... Despite all the news stories, pictures of people blowing room-filling clouds, and people at the B&M hyping their 0.00001 Ohm builds that make flavor so intense that you can smell colors... those that sub-ohm are a huge minority of the vaping society... It also takes a bit of knowledge and proper equipment to sub-ohm safely and responsibly... which is why the media hypes cloud-chasers a lot... just like they portray all motorcycle owners belong to Hell's Angels... or all gun-owners as commando-wanna-be's... the media wants to paint the image of all vapers as cloud-chasers (to fit the agenda of government regulators and big-tobacco). -- yeah, I got on my soap-box

Vaping is what you want it to be... if you're happy with a drop-in coil tank-system and a stick-battery... nobody will think less of you But, I will say, vaping quickly DOES become a hobby with all the shiny gadgets on the market these days.... and there's nothing wrong with sub-ohming... if that is what you like Just be SAFE!

Colossal on preorder. (The wait has been agonizing)

    Another Subtank Mini
    IPV Mini v2
    Vapor Shark DNA30
SX Mini M Class or Glass (I can't tell from the font they used) http://www.yihisxmini.com/index.html(if it isn't vaporware)
Aspire ESP (if it isn't vaporware also)
    Build a DNA40 or SX350j box
I also want to build my testing/building station. Electronics are just so expensive and time is so rare.

I will probably have to pay again this year. We both take extra out of our base pay, but my commission screws everything up tax wise... so I guess it is just a plain wish list...

Well, let's see... after I pay State $20, and get my $4 refund from Uncle Sam... yep, I'm in the hole....

I'm one of those that adjust my W-4 a couple times a year, so I DON'T give the government an "annual interest-free loan" of MY money

However, I will be picking up a second IPV-mini and probably an asMODus Colossal in the very near future... as well as another Russian 91% and Kayfun V4. I'm really loving the small box-mods and RTA combo!

I'll say this, it's widely known that the istick uses an outdated but still effective means of performing. I would hope that anyone wanting to purchase a new device, especially if they're not familiar with the technology would do some basic research on what they're buying.

Bcart, even though you keep a new car under warranty, don't you look into more than the shiny paint and chrome wheels to decide if it actually fits your needs?

I'll break it down crayon drawing style for you...your device produces more power than stated....that means more heat for the coil you are using. Get a higher ohm coil

voltage devices with Chinese origins often have a menu option that allows the user to switch between RMS and MEAN (or AVG) options. Which should you choose, and why? I'm no electrical engineer, so I can really only give you an overview of the engineering involved. What I can tell you is that RMS should be your choice.

Let's start with the an explanation of why the RMS/Mean option is included in the first place. Many variable voltage devices use pulse width modulation (PWM) circuitry to deliver power. That's how we can get a 6 volt output from a 3.7volt battery. The power essentially goes on and off rapidly and looks like a wave on an oscilloscope.

The VMAX and early versions of the ZMAX used this pulse width modulation, but used MEAN or AVG to measure and adjust the output. Because this method does not take into account the “off” time in PWM, the actual power output was often much higher than what the device was set to. You can set a VMAX to 4 volts and get output closer to 5 volts. It's a great way to burn a cartomizer if you're not careful.

Later versions of the ZMAX have been referred to as having the “8th menu option,” which signifies the ability to switch the device between RMS and Mean. RMS measures the output much more accurately and will provide a much more consistent vape. Quite frankly, there is no reason to switch back to MEAN and it's curious why that would even be included as an option. It's like giving a driver a choice of an accurate speedometer or one that reads 10mph too low.

So the short answer is that RMS is the easy choice. The question really is why were we given that choice in the first place?http://vapingguides.com/blog/2013/08/rms-and-mean/
