I had some special vape mail today. I received my 50ft length of 1/8 stainless steel FDA approved cable. Let the wicking trials begin.

I found an idea online to use a stainless steel cable as a wick. It rocks the vapor like nothing I have ever experienced before. The flavor that comes from it is better than cotton or a mesh wick. I have it setup in my RSST with a 1/8 inch diameter cable with a 1.8 ohm micro coil that is 5/64 inner diameter and just a little bit of cotton on the top under the coil as an insulator. I cut it with cable cutters to get a nice clean edge and torched the hell out of it. I wanted to make sure they did not send me something with zinc coating on it.

I have found thru trial and error that I no longer have to tip the tank to re-wet the wick at all. If I do that I am getting gurgling and it leaks from the air hole. I have to keep it below a 4 o'clock position or it will leak. This by far is the most flavorful vape I have ever had. I am only pushing it with 3.6v thru my evic and it is amazing.

I thought I would share this with everyone out there and see what others think.

Thanks for all the replies. It really helps. Maybe ill try to simplify things and not go big. Sometimes you just have to start over at the basics. Maybe ill try a non micro coil in my rsst and see what happens.

I have heard and read so much about the regulations on flavors and nic that have been passed around. I thought of something the other day. Im not sure if anyone has posted this, but if they have I am sorry. If they want to regulate that juice sold online can only be menthol or tobacco flavored. Why cant juice companies just mix up unflavored? If it is unflavored there cant be that much regulation other than the nic in it. I bet they would have a hard time regulating candy flavoring. Why would the mixers not ship the flavoring in the proper amount separate and you mix it when you get it? I dont know if my thinking and understanding of this topic is off, but it seems like a good idea to me.

No problem. I also figured out how to make a micro coil on a 1/16 drill bit with my drill. It makes it tight enoigh that you dont need to squeeze it with tweezers and heat it. Just torch it as is.

My e-vic arrived yesterday and I absolutely love it. The readout is saying my coil is like a 2.7 ohm on them. I need to rebuild to get them to the perfect 2. Just playing with it last night before bed and it is amazing. I have a davide glassomizer on the top of it and it vapes ok around 3.7 volts. I have only ever used push button ego knockoffs before. This probably opens up a entire new realm for me.

I started putting the cotton as the flavor wick itself. I have silica in the coil and the cotton on top of it. You cant make the cotton too thick because it restricts the juice flow. If it is too thin you get leakage and gurgling. You have to figure out what size works after a few tries. It is easy to change so if it is not right just swap it out. Make sure before you put the tube back over it you put a drop or two of juice on it to prime or else you will burn the cotton.

Just dry burned my davide head to clean it and decided to put cotton over the silica wickwd coil to see what happened. I am blowing out clouds! !!!! I never expected a cotton ball to be the answer. Much more flavor too. I may take the silica out later and put in another cotton strand. Thanks for all the info rixter.

After over a month I will never go back to analogs again. The smell makes me sick. I dont know how I ever dealt with that. I gueas the toxins from my system arw gone because im not coughing anymore. I also do not have that craving I had from analogs. If I cant vape for a few hours no worries. I dont get nic fits as I would say. I have converted to a healthier vaper and will be for a long time. As long as medic keeps making juice I will be a loyal customer.

I just started a new job yesterday and everyone in the training smokes. The room were in literally makes me want to vomit from the odor. They looked at me a little odd when I pulled out my pv and started asking questions about it. I explained it in short and they all fluffed it off and said it will never catch on. They were amazed when the trainer came in with one in his hand. We were both at the table vaping while the smokers were twitching watching us.

I just got in my MT3 and gave it a shot with a sample of gummyocalypse from vape naked. I got the mt3 from the vaportalk store. Compare this tank to the vivi nova and there is no comparison. The amount of vapor that comes out of this is amazing.

Well I am going on day 4 and have noticed a few things. Firstly my taste and sense of smell have gotten way better. My tongue no longer has that film on it from smoking. I visited my moms house and she still smokes. The smell from the analogs almost made me physically ill. I don't think i could ever have another analog again which is a good thing.

It's just your body detoxing from all the stuff it got from the cigar smoke. You'll be spitting things out for a few days but it should level out and stop altogether soon-ish.

Personally, I'm amazed at what it takes to be a firefighter. Thank you for everything you do.

We got trained to put out small fires and I now have a firefighter's axe in my office to break through the wall should something happen. We're due to be trained on its use soon. The 60 - 80 lbs of gear in just the jacket and pants you wear is amazing. Then, the rest of it, it's a wonder to me that you can even move!

When we went through our training they put us in the wildfire jacket and we were outside in 100 degree heat. Just that "lightweight" jacket was stifling. Then, they let us try on the real gear and...if someone had lightly pushed my shoulder, I would've just fallen on my back like a turtle.

I'm glad you've given up smoking cigars and started vaping. There are a lot of people out there who don't even know you yet who are going to be very happy about it.
